Blue Velvet is Anthony Bruno's third full length album as a band leader. Blue Velvet harnesses Bruno's raw solo concept and highlights compositions that marry groove with harmonic texture and rhythmic exploration. The record features Chicago jazz all stars Julius Tucker on piano, Matt Gold on guitar, Vinny Kabat on bass, and James Russel Sims on drums. Blue Velvet is independently released from the Anthony Bruno Music label.
